Up all night. Again.

OK, so Wednesday wasn't my first blog of the week. Maybe I was being a little ambitious there. It's taking me forever to write this one as the characters on the keyboard are all different in France. And I have a little hangover. Whoops.

We're all settled into our nice little (tres petite!) apartment in Menton, a little town just two stops on the train from Monaco. This is the second year we've stayed here. It gives us a little space to relax when all the madness is going on in Monaco. There is also a nice beach that we visited yesterday.

So, things in Monaco don't really tend to hot up until Thursday, but the Gridmodels girls sure managed to heat the place up last night! After a day sunning ourselves by the Med, we headed on over to Monte Carlo for the evening.

First stop, an impromptu photoshoot outside the Casino. All the tourists were loving it - and loving us, I have to say. I'm never as popular with the guys as I am in Monaco, and I know the other girls would agree on that! We got interviewed by an Asian TV station - "who is the hottest guy in formula 1?" well it has to be little Lewis Hamilton, doesn't it. He's causing quite a stir in the industry right now.

Next stop, good old Trevor's yacht for a quick glass of vino or three as it turned out. Then dinner and more drinks for Barry's 70th birthday. His is the biggest yacht we've been on so far. In fact it was a bit more like a small cruise ship. Barry owns a grand prix tours company and takes Americans around to all the races. Gridmodels really enjoyed dinner and a bit of dancing on deck to some (very) old school tunes.

Then off to Rascasse with some of the people we met on the boat. Rascasse is normally one of the places to be seen in Monaco, and even on a Wednesday night it was heaving. I know it's our job to keep the boys entertained but I qm looking forward to more women turning up on the weekend. All the testosterone floating round can be quite overwhelming!

Anyway we ,issed our train back to Monaco and decided to make it an all-nighter. So where better in Monaco to dance till dawn but Jimmy'Z? The Gridmodels liked Jimmy'Z very much - a super cheesy club with the inside merging with the outside, fountains, outside cabanas, that kind of thing.

A great night was had by all, and we rolled into our beds at around 6am. What a bunch of dirty stopouts :-)

Today's mission is to visit Cannes and get ourselves invited to the Ocean's 13 party. Quite a challenge by anyone's standards. We are the Gridmodels, and toast of the town to boot, so don't rule it out just yet!

Right, I need some water before I collapse in the heat. Just another beautiful day on the Cote D'Azur and I'm missing it!

Stay tuned - that's all folks!
